requests, part 1

I'm not sure if these will come down soon, or not. Here are the first few requests, though. These are just the ones I already have photos of.

• For New Kid, a photo from lab (I have a couple more to post when I find them):

These are the tissue culture hoods (where we work with cells) at night, with the UV lights on. The hoods are supposed to be sterile, so the UV light is supposed to kill any stray microbes so they don't contaminate your cells. You can see how much junk is in the hoods, though, so they're almost certainly not sterile.
