requests, part 1
I'm not sure if these will come down soon, or not. Here are the first few requests, though. These are just the ones I already have photos of.
These are the tissue culture hoods (where we work with cells) at night, with the UV lights on. The hoods are supposed to be sterile, so the UV light is supposed to kill any stray microbes so they don't contaminate your cells. You can see how much junk is in the hoods, though, so they're almost certainly not sterile.- and the view out my windows in Winter (I'll take a photo of the Summer view when I get home):

- For Kermit, my favourite spot on my old commute (my current favourite would be too identifying):

In case you can't see the angel properly, here she is bigger:
- For Angrygrad, a memento of (almost) my hometown. All my stuff from my hometown is too identifying, but this is a mouse made of local wood that a friend got me from her nearby hometown:

Wow, UV lights that have a scholarly purpose! Cool.
And can I live on your street? It looks much more like where I'd like to be than where I am now. Sigh.
Thanks for the pics!
ah, nice angel. and mouse!
I especially like seeing the lab.
Yeah, that mouse is really cool.
