Woohoo!

I've been playing minesweeper again, but I have also been productive: I just wrote 690 words of my proposal!!! Sure, it was the easiest part, but at least it's something... I spent last night panicking about how I could possibly tell my advisor that I couldn't do my qualifying exam and then I realised I'd have to tell everyone else in my program and house and family since they all know when it's supposed to be and then I panicked even more. So today I decided it would probably be easier to just write the damn thing. Hopefully I'll make it through the other 9 pages, too...
