change of scene

This morning I met my advisor at a cafe since it was more convenient than going to lab for both of us. I had to let him read what I had so far and he didnt' seem too horrified so I guess it's okay. I just need to finish it. I stayed in the cafe for about an hour after he left and got a whole aim done (probably something to do with the fact that the wireless connection wouldn't connect). Then my battery started to die and I'd forgotten my power cord so I came home. I thought I'd just have a quick break and check my email etc and then I'd get on with writing. Instead I got sidetracked, of course, and now it's 6 hours later and I've done nothing more. I'm going to go try another cafe. Unfortunately, the closest one has free wireless but maybe it'll help anyway...
