freaking out

so, supposedly, making the powerpoint slides about my proposal should be easy. All I have to do is copy and paste over the figures and add a few notes, right? So why am I feeling just as stuck as I was last week with the actual proposal?
That's not what I'm freaking out about though. I have no idea why, but I feel like I'm in a horror movie or something and every little noise is some ghost or zombie or other freaky thing about to attack. Most of my housemates are away this weekend so the house is pretty quiet, but I still don't get it. I have plenty of real stuff to be freaking out about (ie my qualifying exam is in less than 3 days!) so why am I getting spooked by noises?

I hope you're not too spooked!

I feel that way in an empty house at night, too, though.

I get that way at night if I'm alone too. The noises just come out more, for some reason.

my house at home made noises that sounded exactly like someone walking around. At least noises here aren't so specifically creepy.
