- why do my fancy new headphones only give me sound in one ear from my digital piano, when the crappy airline ones work in both ears (provided the cord is in the exact right position)? Does it have anything to do with the fact that the 2 lines marking that they're stereo headphones are black on the airline ones and green on the new ones and the discman ones that also only work on one side?
- Does the library really expect that I'll borrow a CD and not rip it to my itunes library? Or am I evil for asking that?

Re #2, I share your incredulity, and hasten to add that this is a subject which should never be mentioned on the Internets....the blogger formerly known as Bizgirl became an ex-librarian because of it...
oh, right. This is, of course, a purely hypothetical question; I would never do such a thing. I just have less faith in other people than the library appears to.
