re: showing my therapist blog posts etc

If you show someone something you’ve written, you give them a sharpened stake, lie down in your coffin, and say, “When you’re ready.”

If that's how you mistrustful and afraid you are of your therapist (or any therapist?), I think there's really no point in your even attempting therapy, especially since you're too fearful to talk during your sessions, too. If there's no basic entry-level trust between you and a therapist, the whole thing's pretty much a futile waste of time and money. Mabye it's time for Plan B?

yeah, that was pretty much what I was thinking, Josh; I just don't have a plan B.

Well, I can see that. It's interesting that you can nonetheless share your writing with us blogpeople.

I guess you can't reach me with your stakes, since I'm hiding behind the internet.
