NaBloPoMo day 1

It was a struggle to get my 15 points today. I don't think I made it to 3 hours of work, but I filled in the rest by replying to long-overdue emails and eating soup for dinner, instead of tortilla chips. Now I'm just barely going to get this post in before the first day is over.

Don't worry, I promise not all posts will just be about my points.

Oh, here's a question to add some content: the transparent, barely-holding-together t-shirts they sell at Old Navy, how exactly are you meant to wear them? Are you supposed to wear more than one at a time? I would've maybe bought a couple if I'd thought they'd survive being worn, or washed.

And here's another photo while I continue to be indecisive about doing this every day (you probably need to click to embiggen):
I thought the composition would suck because I was trying not to be obvious about taking the photo, and really I probably should have cropped it, but I kind of like it this way. They look more out of place.

Excellent. Ballroom dancers in an empty lobby. Brilliant.

I rather like the composition - all the precise lines. It took me no small amount of time to even notice the people dancing. :)

I get self-conscious taking pictures too. Which is why you see a lot of trees and animals on my blog - they don't seem to mind at all. So good for you for getting past that and getting a lovely shot.

The picture was actually taken while I was facing the opposite direction, so I was even more amazed that it worked.
