shrinking, part 2

I bought a skirt today. I started with the size below what I was last time I shopped for clothes and still had to go down three more sizes before getting to the one I bought. Obviously, there's some serious vanity sizing going on, but it felt very odd to buy something in a size that is too small (numerically) to even exist at home. I wonder what genuinely small people do. Shop in the children's section?

I guess shopping in the kids' section is an option, if you like pink... :)

The skirt is adorable!

you know, given the clothes they make for little girls, the kid's section should be a more or less viable option. I saw a 25 year old dwarf on frontline (or one of those shows) shopping for size 4T and she looked entirely age appropriate, meaning the clothes looked like something a 25 year old should be wearing. Her only problem was shoes. The shoes were really cutesy.

yes, kids clothing is a lot more sophisticated these days. and cheaper. but sometimes there are slight problems with the fit (i.e. not enough room for hips or breasts if you have either). once in a while i buy skirts at limited too. i get LOTS of compliments on them.

Q: are you sure you are not loosing too much weight? how many calories are you eating? i hope enough for all the exercising you've been doing.

Sometimes I wish I could fit into kids' clothes, because some of them are cute, and more appropriate for older people anyway.

LaKisha, I don't know how many calories I've been eating, but I'm fairly sure I'm not starving myself. I'm still eating more than I'm hungry for, anyway. Plus, I haven't been losing that much in terms of weight, I think.
