happy birthday, blog!

I guess I'm already 27, even though it's not my birthday yet in this time zone, but it is unambiguously my blog's 2nd birthday. Things have improved a lot since I started this blog, for reasons largely related to the blog itself, so I'm very glad I started it. Thank you all for your comments and support! They've meant a lot to me and made a real difference. It's been great to meet some of you in real life, but I'm very glad to know you all, even if it is only virtually.
