dispatch from parrot city
If I had my memory card reader I would put a photo of a parrot in this post to commemorate the fact that I'm in Styleygeek's city, but I don't. Her parrot-blogging addiction is even more understandable now that I'm here and can see fantastic parrots everywhere. I haven't got any good photos of them, sadly. Unfortunately, I just realised I forgot about taking a blogger meet-up photo, so I don't even have that to show you. It was very fun meeting Styleygeek, though, even if she did think I sounded American. She was nice enough to log me into a computer in her uni library so I could have internet access, since I've been deprived so long. And now I have to go and catch my bus without having caught up on blog reading, or even writing a proper post, but hopefully I'll get another chance to get online soon.

Well, so much for my plan to get in first and blog an entirely one-sided tale of the meeting to punish you for insisting on paying for lunch. (Wow, that makes me sound really screwed up).
Giving you internet access was shooting myself in the foot for that one, wasn't it? :)
I'm sorry you didn't get a chance to catch up on blogs properly. If you read this in time (although I can't imagine how you would), feel free to use my log-in details to go back to the library and internet again.
And I can't believe we forgot to get a picture. Even after talking about it! Gah!

I'm so glad that you and Styley got to meet! That's just lovely. And you got to see the parrots!
