xmas presents for me

New boots!

This book, because I need to make this polar bear:

I also got a couple of packages from home today, but those will have to wait for Xmas itself.

Tomorrow will be Xmas baking day. I started soaking the fruit cake fruit (unfortunately, I've never been organised enough to soak it months in advance, as Propter Doc did) tonight and now have to resist eating all the corn syrup-free glace cherries that I brought back specially from C'land before I can bake it.
