random bullets of fat tuesday

  • I ate way too much today again, thanks to the housemates who made king cake and pancakes (which were both really, really good).
  • I guess that's what Mardi Gras is all about, though.
  • Not that I'll be obstaining from anything for Lent.
  • The stars can begin again tomorrow, though.
  • At least I ate my veges today.
  • My mum would laugh if she knew my new favourite sandwich has avocado on it (thanks, Twirly, for the suggestion!).
  • The red peppers, cheese, mustard aioli and yummy bread make it a lot better than the avocado sandwiches I refused to eat as a kid, though.
  • The bread is really good, but I realised that I would have to buy two loaves to have enough for a whole week's sandwiches and $9 for bread seems a little excessive.
  • Maybe I should learn how to make bread.
  • Or maybe that isn't so excessive after all.
  • I've been wishing my mittens I made had some kind of fleecy lining so they were warmer and today I read about thrummed mittens.
  • Why did nobody tell me about them before?
  • I should finish some of the knitting projects I already have going first, I suppose.
  • For some reason I've been working on the project I like least.
  • Maybe just because it's the one that shows the progress soonest.
  • I left my power cord at lab and my battery is about to die, so I guess I'll go to bed early for a change.

You could buy glove liners, maybe. To wear under the mittens?

What do I know from mittens? I live in Los Angeles.

I already have glove liners under my mittens. :) I used to not know from mittens, too. I miss that weather...
